Alice Searby is a London based Casting Director. She’s recently cast films such as ‘Alice, Darling’ for Mary Nighy, Oscar winning Judy for Rupert Goold, Last Christmas for Paul Feig and the BAFTA nominated TV series Brassic for Sky.

With over 17 years’ experience, specialising in Film and TV.  As a Casting Director she’s also worked with Andrew Cividino on ‘Essex County’, the mini series created by Jeff Lemire, Bruce Goodison on ‘Black Cab’ for Sony, Derek Cianfrance on ‘The Light Between Oceans’, Philip Noyce on ‘Mary and Martha’, Jon Ronson on ‘The Dog Thrower’, and Roger Michelle on ‘Le Week-End’ amongst others. Find out more on IMDB or see full CV here.

Alice trained under Lucy Bevan and Fiona Weir as an assistant becoming an associate to them, working on other major international features such as the Harry Potter franchise from ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ through to ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, including David Yates’s most recent films ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ and ‘The Crimes of Grindlewald’. She’s also worked extensively with Richard Curtis on projects such as ‘About Time’ and ‘Pirate Radio’, Lone Sherfig’s ‘An Education’, Matthew Warchus’s ‘Pride’ and ‘Brooklyn’ directed by John Crowley. During Alice’s time as an associate she also moved to LA to work on 'J.Edgar' for Clint Eastwood, having already worked with him on his films ‘Invictus’ and ‘Hereafter’. 

Alice is a member of both the Casting Directors Guild and the Casting Society of America.
